A space for all

Built in 1865, as the home of the Branwell family. Penlee House is home to many paintings by members of the Newlyn School. It is also home to the Penzance Natural History and Antiquarian Society collection.

Sailing model boats at the the Rotary Boating Pool, Penzance. The Rotary Boating Pool at Wherrytown comprises two pools connected by a stream from Madron. It was opened on 5 August 1955 by the Mayor, Alderman Miss Agatha Chirgwin. In 2015 it is still a popular venue for model boat operators.
