A space for all

Built in 1865, as the home of the Branwell family. Penlee House is home to many paintings by members of the Newlyn School. It is also home to the Penzance Natural History and Antiquarian Society collection.

Parking

Three parking spaces at the back of Penlee House are reserved for disabled badge-holders. Please enter via the Morrab Road entrance (SatNav TR18 4EP).

Wheelchairs & Buggies

Penlee House is fully accessible for wheelchair users and pushchairs and there is an adapted toilet and baby-change facility. Seating is provided in most galleries and a wheelchair is available to borrow during your visit.

Ear defenders

We have ear defenders available to borrow for those who require them. Our fisherman’s pockets contain toys to help children engage with the gallery.

The Bloomberg Connects App can be downloaded from a QR code in the Gallery, or from our website: Bloomberg Connects – Penlee House. This provides audio relating to the paintings in each of our temporary exhibitions, as well as some of our own collections on display.
