Sparrow huntsman mounted; Mr Duncan Simpson on foot with trilby hat (he was a Director of Simpson's the Gents outfitters shop in Market Place, Penzance); Mr Owen Wheal, Town Clerk and Barrister-at-Law; Mrs Wheal; Agatha Ursula Chirgwin, Penzance Mayor; and Mr Cyril Eddy, mounted with bowler hat. Agatha Ursula Chirgwin was Penzance Mayor for one year in 1955, so would date the photograph to the autumn of 1955.
