Advertising calendar in large envelope
print of painting of the Wherry Mine by Denys Law, whose signature is in the bottom right-hand corner. Attached to the bottom of the print is a small hanging paper calendar for 1962. The colour print is mounted upon a thick piece if board. St Michael's Mount can be seen to the right with Wherrytown mine in front of it and there is a pictorial layout of the buildings along this edge of Penzance. Battery rocks can also be identified. On the reverse side is a printed description of the history of Wherry mine and above : 'With the Compliments of the Holman Bros. Ltd., Camborne.'. with it's logo.

airmail letter to the servicemen in the Gulf War from the Mayor of Penzance Cllr B J Speigelhalter. On behalf of the Parish of Penzance, he informs them that they are thinking of them, offering prayers for their safe return, and are willing to give assistance to their loved ones in the South West while they are away. Dated 27th February 1991, the letter holds the Penzance Borough coat of arms and telephone number. On the reverse side are the typed sender's address of the Mayor of Penzance and a space for the serviceman's address. Black type with blue Royal Mail and airmail icons, on a blue airmail envelope.

blue serge trousers, as worn during World War Two. Trousers are issued by Civil Defence and made by S Simpson Ltd, 1952 (?). Label reads ' Size 16, height 5'9-5'10, waist 39"-41", seat 43"-45", leg seam 43"-45". Button fly, button fastened,, belt loops, leg pockets, large on left, narrow on right (for torch), back pocket.

A list of the Mayors of Penzance from 1614 to 1973
a list of the Mayors of Penzance from 1614 to 1973. Two pages, printed on three sides and attached to each other with three staples, black type, listed in chronological order. The staples were in different positions at an earlier date, but these have been removed and replaced. A separate piece of newer paper has been glued to the last column, adding a number of later Mayors from 1951 to 1973. There is a note giving information about the Local Government Act 1972, in which the Borough of Penzance ceased to exist after 31st March 1974. An address is handwritten in pencil on the back : 'Mes Gallagher / Tregonna / ? / Caharrack / Redruth'
