Description: Airmail letter to the servicemen in the Gulf War from the Mayor of Penzance Cllr B J Speigelhalter. On behalf of the Parish of Penzance, he informs them that they are thinking of them, offering prayers for their safe return, and are willing to give assistance to their loved ones in the South West while they are away. Dated 27th February 1991, the letter holds the Penzance Borough coat of arms and telephone number. On the reverse side are the typed sender's address of the Mayor of Penzance and a space for the serviceman's address. Black type with blue Royal Mail and airmail icons, on a blue airmail envelope.
