A space for all

Built in 1865, as the home of the Branwell family. Penlee House is home to many paintings by members of the Newlyn School. It is also home to the Penzance Natural History and Antiquarian Society collection.

    Discover the different people and outfits in the paintings and photos on display at Penlee House. Dress a peg doll by making your own outfits from fabric scraps and felt. 

  • Arty Afternoons: Jigsaw of a portrait

    Choose a portrait painting or photograph from our exhibition and turn it into a jigsaw. You can draw your own jigsaw too, maybe a self portrait design or a portrait of your favourite pet!
