I was asked to record the 2025 season at Penlee Park Open Air Theatre.
There was never going to be one image that could say it all. To capture the season, I chose to elevate small moments and put them together like a puzzle to tell a story of the season. When we remember something, we don’t think of everything together as it happened, we remember moments. All these things together create the memory and the feelings that go with them.
Working from photographs taken over the season I tried to include all the elements that made it; People, venue, shows, backstage, volunteers, and audience. Here are just some of the wonderful moments I witnessed, it was extremely difficult to decide which to use as there were so many to choose from!
I hope it will paint a picture of the 2025 season for you.
