A space for all

Built in 1865, as the home of the Branwell family. Penlee House is home to many paintings by members of the Newlyn School. It is also home to the Penzance Natural History and Antiquarian Society collection.

Festival of Archaeology guided walk: Circles and Stones

£15 for adults; Free for Under 18s (must be accompanied by an adult)

Explore the context for some of the amazing prehistoric objects at Penlee House Gallery & Museum. Join James Kitto – Chair of CASPN (Cornish Ancient Sites Protection Network) and Bard of Gorsedh Kernow – for a ramble around standing stones and circles in the Mên-an-tol area.

The walk will explore many of the ancient sites that make up the rich prehistoric landscape, including Mên-an-tol, Mên Scryfa, the Nine Maidens Stone Circle and the Four Parishes Stone.

Please note that this walk involves uneven terrain.
