Item: Lower Town, St Martins, Scilly. No. 83
Description: The view from Lower Town looking towards Middletown, Isles of Scilly. The house on the left is The Elms, which became the Sevenstones Inn in the 1970s; Ashvale Farm is in the centre and Middletown in the distance to the right. One of the outbuildings behind the Elms House would have been the generator shed as there was no electricity until the 1980s and a road would have been added around the late 1950s.
