Description: A postcard of Middletown Down towards Lowertown. Only the longest of the four green houses shown still stand, although about a third of it has been roofed over. The house at the front right was knocked down and rebuilt in 2000. The fields in the background were cultivated for flower farming and the larger fields for livestock at the time of the picture. Some of the smaller fields are now used for holiday chalets.
