Description: This is a small chapel about 1/4 mile from St Piran's Church in the sand dunes at Perranporth, believed to date from the 5th/6th century and thought to be one of the oldest places of Christian worship in Britain. The Oratory commemorates the time St Piran spent here and is celebrated on the Sunday closest to St Piran's Day by a play which takes place on the dunes.
