Description: This photograph shows the footpath and entrance to Castle Treryn, also known as Treryn Dinas at NG reference 397221. According to 'Belerion' by Craig Weatherhill (1981) "this castle is reached through four lines of defence of embankments, ramparts and ditches. Legend states that it was the home of King Arthur and where Merlin is imprisoned forever. It is believed to have been occupied between 3rd to 1st centuries BC".
