Description: A photograph of the Merry Maidens Circle at St Buryan, also known as Boleigh or Rosemodress Circle at NG reference 433245. 78ft in diameter, this is a true circle of 19 stones, between 3ft and 4.5ft high. A gap on the eastern side is probably an entrance. It is believed to date from 2,400 to 2,540 BC. Source: "Belerion" Craig Weatherhill 1981.
