Item: Prince and Princess of Wales in Truro
Description: This photograph forms part of a series (0655 to 0671) relating to the visit of the Prince and Princess of Wales to Cornwall in 1903. It was taken on 15 July 1903, as part of the visit of the Prince and Princess of Wales (who became George V and Queen Mary) to Truro for the consecration of the nave at Truro Cathedral. The image is of the Royal party's procession through the City - possibly taken on Richmond Hill - with children in the foreground who have been given a flag and a bun each.
