Identification
Item: Eglos Veor Mill, Zennor, Cornwall.
Description: This is a photograph of the water power grist mill at Zennor. See Also 1989.1224 for a larger format of the Mill. Eglos Veor Mill was situated on the path between Zennor Churchtown and Zennor Head and was washed away during a severe storm in the 1890s. When the mill was not working, the water was diverted back into the stream through a wooden launder which is to the right of the photograph. To the left is a Fern Rick used for bedding for cattle or pigs. The Mill was either worked by the Berriman or Stevens Family.
