Item: Roger's Tower, Castle-an-dinas, Castle Gate, above Ludgvan
Description: A photograph of 'Roger's Tower' with Alexander Gibson sitting on a mound to the right. Located at Castle-an-dinas just above the granite quarry and sitting on the site of a neolithic hill fort, 'Roger's Tower' was built from the remains of the fort and in gothic style and was completed in 1798. John Rogers of Treassowe Farm is thought to have had it built as a lookout.
