Item: View near Bleu Bridge, Gulval
Description: Bleu Bridge is situated on a track which runs from Helnowath Hill to the Gulval/Heamoor Road. It crosses the Trevaylor River and beside the bridge is a ford used by horses and many years ago on a track which went from Gulval to Heamoor. There is a an inscribe stone slab standing upright on the left hand side crossing from Gulval. For many years it was part of the bridge and was put upright in 1841. It dates from a period when the Romans left Britain and the inscription reads "Quenatavci Dinni Filius". Bleu is the Cornish word for Parish.
