Description: A photograph of a fleet of mackerel fishing boats setting sail in Mount's Bay. Nearest the camera: 11 PZ "Flying Scud". 45.6ft long registered to J&W Badcock, Newlyn. Previously had a PE registration. 1869-93 broken up; 392 PZ "Emeline". 43 ft long registered to Richard Bath, Penzance 1883-97. Sold to Lowestoft; 9PZ "John Wesley". 40 ft long. Mousehole 1869-83; PZ 17 "Agememnon". 42 ft long. Registered to Joseph Trewavas VC Mousehole 1872-98. Sold to Lowestoft. In the background is a counter sterned lugger with her punt aboard and is possibly a stranger.
