Item: Discharging timber at Penzance Harbour
Description: A Barque, probably Scandinavian, unloading timber through ports in the bow, into the water in Penzance Dock. The ship the LT327, could be the 'Loch Broom' 1907 . The LT327 carries a sail on her foremast, a feature of earlier vessels. A raft alongside the barque is being towed by a rowing boat and deck cargo is on the quay. A signal in the background indicates if the dock gate is open.
