Item: Madron Wishing Well, Madron, Cornwall.
Description: A photograph of Madron Wishing Well and the stone steps giving access to the well water. At the far end a granite slab covers two-thirds of the well allowing water to leave to a leat, and finally by culvert to the Bapistry through a hole in the Chapel Wall. The well was considered to have healing powers and also for signs of an early wedding.
