Item: St Gundred's Well near Roche, Cornwall.
Description: A view of St Gundred's Well also known as St Gunnett's Well. St Gunnett was the daughter of a leper who lived alone at Roche Rock to avoid contaminating others. She daily fetched water for him, not from here, but from a rock basin near the bottom of Roche Rock, whose water is said to ebb and flow with the tide.
