Item: Padstow Institute, Padstow.
Description: Padstow Institute was built by public subscription in 1881-82. It was built of brick with a bitumen coated slate roof. The building is on a corner site between Market Place and Duke Street. It comprised a library and reading room, meeting room, a snooker and billiards room with a museum on the first floor. It is now Padstow Museum.
