Item: Roche Rocks, Roche, Cornwall.
Description: A view of Roche Rocks with an unidentified man and small boy in the foreground. The rocks are 66ft high and are named as a site of Special Scientific Interest. On top of the rocks is a ruined chapel dedicated to St Michael, which is said to have been the oracle of a leper or monk. It stands two storeys high and is mediaeval in origin.
