Item: Truro Cathedral from St Mary's Street.
Description: A view of Truro Cathedral from St Mary's Street with the Red Lion Hotel on the left and Ell & Co agents for Anglo-Bavarian Ale, on the right. The central tower of the Cathedral had been raised to the level of the lantern stage and was capped with a pyramid-shaped roof as a temporary measure. The Red Lion Hotel is now a branch of the Co-op and the Anglo-Bavarian Ale building is now used as the Cathedral Office. See Note for more information.
