Description: A view across Coverack village to the bay. The Ward & Lock (guide book) of 1922/23 described Coverack as a "good place for a holiday with bass and pollack fishing.It had a great reputation for 'free traffic'. The 1st coastguard appointed asked for more men as 7000 onkers of brandy had been successfully 'run' ashore. Coverack & Mullion boasted the greatest number of smuggling runs".
