Identification
Description: Medieval greenstone hone, with ground sides and grooved faces. One face has a cross-like indentation and the other side is dimpled with 40 small circular depressions. May have been used to sharpen hooks or needles, or used to push thick needles through leather or sails, circa AD 1200-AD1700.
