Item: The Warspite on Tow
Description: A fisherman watches from his landing place as H.M.S.Warspite is towed between Prussia Cove and Hogus Rocks. The tug boats are "Brahman" (front) and "Englishman"(rear). She grounded on Mounts Bay Ledge, which was renamed Prussia Cove on 23 April 1947. Warspite was the most famous battleship in the Royal Navy. She was launched on 26 November 1913, fought at Jutland, Nariti, Matapan and took part in D Day.
