Item: Bust of Barbara Tribe
Description: Biscuitware head and shoulders bust of Barbara Tribe, sculptor. Hiller came to Cornwall in 1947 and lived in Mousehole. He was a member of the Newlyn Society of Artists. Tribe and Hiller became friends early on and Tribe taught Hiller at sculpture classes.
Condition: Good - no obvious damage, though extremely fragile. Terracotta contains fragments which can come loose when handling.
