Item: Penzance Promenade
Description: An easterly wind is blowing the bunting decorating Penzance Promenade where a lady and a girl sporting straw hats, coats and sensible shoes could be holidaymakers taking in the spectacular view of Mounts Bay. The bandstand was built in 1905, the Pavilion Theatre to the right in 1912 and the Queens Hotel opened in 1862.
