Item: Royal Baths, Promenade, Penzance
Description: The Royal Baths (demolished in June 1883) are clearly visible along with a gentleman standing in the foreground by the colonnade thought to be William Norton (1808-1891), proprietor of the Baths in 1855. The Baths had first been operated by Timothy Burt and were included in the 1841 Tithe map. More information about William Norton is available in the attached file.
