Item: Esplanade, Penzance and Logan Rock
Description: Across the top of this card is what appears to be a view of Newquay cut into eight with the letters of Penzance in each section. Beneath is a view of Penzance Promenade looking up from the esplanade above the beach near Lariggan. Beneath that is a shot of almost all of Logan Rock which, from the lack of vegetation and stone around it , must have taken decades to recover from its restoration in 1824. The pictures offer the choice of conventional seaside holidays or one with archaeological significance. To the 21st century eye, the pictures appear to be poorly tinted
