Item: Threshing and building a stack of corn at Trevean Farm, Gulval
Description: Threshing at Trevean Farm; the Marshall drum was owned by Mr Barlow Richards of Praa Sands; power on the belt was provided by a 1949 Fordson Major E27N fitted with a Perkins P6 diesel engine. The barn in the background has been converted into a dwelling occupied in 2012 by the grandson of Mr Jim Matthews. This area is now a packing shed and shop selling cut flowers grown in a greenhouse by the grandson, Mark Matthews.
