Description: Mr John (Jack) Stanley Stephens, Mayor of Penzance presenting a cup to Cadet Jean Sheppard. Cadet Hilary Simons is also in the photograph. The lady in the background wearing spectacles is Miss Bailley and the venue is possibly the High Street Sunday School in Penzance, but not the St John Ambulance, Penzance, Headquarters. See also 2001.120.3858 as both photographs were taken on the same night.
