Description: Everard's coaster 'Serenity', laden with cement, ran aground on Hayle Bar in January 1957. She was floated off safely. The "Serenity" was built by George Brown of Greenock in 1941 and sold to Greece in 1967. She was 557 gross tons, 168.7' x 27.7' x 9.6' with a Newbury 5 cylinder diesel engine.
