Item: The repair of a stone loading gantry on South Pier Newlyn following the 1962 Ash Wednesday storm
Description: With a French crabber in a calm background, the gantry has been repaired and the stone shute is in operation over a ship's hold. This is probably one of a set of photographs for an insurance claim following damage in the Ash Wednesday storms of 1962.
