Item: The repair of a stone loading gantry on South Pier Newlyn following the 1962 Ash Wednesday storm
Description: It is part of a set of photographs taken in order to make an insurance claim following the storm damage. Beneath the operator's cabin, one can see the stone tram tipping shed; to its right is the traversing loading gantry. The twisted conveyor feed section is leaning over the side of the quay.
