Item: J R Branwell, Elizabeth and Edith
Description: A horse and carriage standing outside the front door of Penlee House. JR and Elizabeth Branwell sit in the carriage with their second daughter, Edith. The driver wears a top hat and holds a whip. A pram stands beside the wall to the left. Elizabeth Trewhella has dated this photograph to about 1895.
Condition: Good - small amount of discolouration to the left edge and a very small amount of foxing to the bottom half of the photograph. The top edge has been reduced in a rough manner, cutting off the top border of the photograph.
