Description: A photograph of Ludgvan Church, looking from the graveyard. The parish church of St Paul at Ludgvan is one of four parish churches in the United Benefice of Mounts Bay. There is evidence of it being used as a place of worship as early as the 7th century. The original church was dedicated to St Ludewon or Ludvon but nothing remains of this early building except the Norman font. On 14 July 1336 the church was rededicated to St Paul; the chancel was rebuilt during the 14th century.
