Identification
Item: A woman beating a fishing net.
Description: A photograph of a woman beating a fishing net outside a white granite house in Newlyn. The net is laid out on the base of a climber. Other plants, including nasturtiums, grow in pots in front of the wall. A number of pails, bowls, pitchers and bussas sit on the cobbled lane, indicating that it was the centre of much activity. A coat hangs on a hook in the doorway next door.
Condition: Good - Discolouration to the top edge of the photograph. A small amount of foxing to the top half and to the right and left edges.
