Item: SS Benwick, Porthcurno
Description: The SS Benwick, 1884 tons of Newcastle, from Antwerp for Barry Dock in ballast struck the Runnelstone at 5am on 13 February, 1903. She was driven before a strong SW wind and drove ashore and was wrecked near Porthcurno.
