Item: Greencourt, Tregenna Place, St Ives flooded on 12 November 1894
Description: Several days of heavy rain followed by a cloudburst caused the Stennack River to burst its banks on 12 November 1894. There was heavy damage to the road and property in the Stennack. Heavy flooding from the grounds of Tregenna Castle badly damaged the Malakov above the railway station. It is not thought that the serious flooding in May 1992 was so destructive.
