Item: Barnoon Hill, St Ives in the early 20th century
Description: The view looking down Barnoon Hill, St Ives towards the parish church and The Terrace. Captain John Tregarthen Short's School of Navigation is the building on the left with two tall chimneys. This was demolished in 1911 or 1912 and replaced by a Picture Dome, later the site of the Palais de Danse which in 2011 is managed by the Barbara Hepworth Trust.
