Item: Tregenna Place, St Ives in the early 20th century
Description: This view from Tregenna Hill opens into Tregenna Place, formerly the Green Court. It was not the original main road into St Ives, that was Skidden Hill, St Andrew's Street and past the Parish Church leading to the Market Place and Fore Street. Gabriel Street is left in front of the Passmore Edwards building. High Street is to the bottom right. On the left is William's Bazaar; the first bay window is that of the Hain shipping Office with Street an Pol on its corner.
