Item: The Earl of Arran
Description: Seen here pictured off Scilly, the Earl of Arran was built in 1860 with 144 gross tonnage. Bought from Scotland where she was a Clyde steamer, she was rebuilt by Harveys of Hayle. She was owned by the West Cornwall Steam Ship Company Ltd as an iron paddler operated from 1871 to 1872 and was wrecked on NornorI sland.
