Identification
Item: Penzance Harbour from the Lighthouse Pier.
Description: A view of Penzance Harbour from the Lighthouse Pier. To the left, Lowestoft steam drifters including LT327 at Penzance for the Spring mackerel season possibly 'Loch Broom' 1907. To the right, Scandinavian, probably Norwegian wooden barque discharging timber into the harbour through ports in her bow. Behind the sailing vessel is a two funnel steamer, possibly Stormcock tug. In the centre of the image is a tank labelled 'American Daylight Oil'. The steamer in the right foreground appears to be the Trinity House vessel 'Mermaid' 1897-1935.
