Item: Cape Cornwall from Carn Gloose showing remains of the Cape Cornwall Mine
Description: Left to right are the Port of Carn Gloose; Priest Cove; platform for the chutes for feeding the stamps; site of the boiler house for pumping the winding engine; site of stack for pumping and winding engine; site of pumping and winding engine; chimney stack; remains of the flue; stamps boiler house; Count House; site of powder house. The metalwork for the engine would have weighed about 120 tons.
