Identification
Item: The Lizard.
Description: According to the Ordnance Survey this is the extreme southerly point of the English coast. Its noble Lighthouse stands 230 feet above sea level, as is 61 feet high. Its warning electric flashlight of one million candle power can be seen about 60 miles away. The coast hereabouts is exceedingly rough and broken, and contains many interesting coves and caves, the work of the unresting sea.
