Item: Porthminster Beach, St Ives.
Description: A beautiful stretch of sand to the eastward of the town, between Pedn Olva and Porthminster Point, and close to the Great Western Railway Terminus. It is the favourite bathing-place being more sheltered than Porthmeor Beach, the larger of the two, but more open to the winds and waves of the Atlantic. There is every accommodation here for boating and bathing.
