Item: Penzance from Penlee Gardens
Description: This area in front of Alexandra Terrace has on the left the area of the old mill which became a bus station and in 2014 is Lidl's supermarket. The cottages to the right and opposite were demolished following the Ash Wednesday storm in 1962. The Cafe Marina was demolished; to its right is the tower of the Pavilion. Palm trees, the sea and St Mary's Church tower make this an easily identifiable site of old Penzance
