Item: The Promenade, Penzance
Description: A monochrome picture postcard with the script 'The Promenade, Penzance' printed at the bottom, along with 'A Tuck Card' in the right hand corner. The image of Penzance Promenade shows the promenade railings and the sea to the right, whilst to the left in front of the Queens Hotel is the Bandstand donated in 1905 by Mr R.F. Bolitho. To the right of the hotel is Marine Terrace and the Marine Hotel. In the background, St Mary's Church is on the central skyline and to the right is The Penzance Sailor's Institute/Seaman's Mission built in 1908. To the distant far right is Taylor's Garage. Unidentified people sit on the bench in the foreground next to the railings.
